This week we will explore letter Hh and meet Holly Hippo. We will also learn about the heart shape. We will begin our new unit on eating Healthy and growing strong. We will read the story “Going to the Health Club.” The students will be introduced the My Pyramid which is the food pyramid guidelines. We will concentrate on the Grains section this week.
The students will learn how to write letter Hh and find pictures that begin with the Hh sound. We will also makw an Hh Rhyme Book and practice Touch Math. A BEKA: The students will begin Little Book 5. We will introduce Pp & Hh blends Pp blends Hh Blends pa pat ha hat pe pet he hen pi pig hi hit po pot ho hot pu pup hu hug
This week we will learn that Baptism makes us children of God. We will share our on Baptism pictures and even baptize a baby in the church. The children will understand the Church welcomes them into God’s family through Baptism.
1/5– Bring Hh object to school 1/5 bring Baptismal Picture to school (if you were not baptized just bring a baby picture)
