**WE ESPECIALLY THANK YOU FOR A FANTASTIC KINDERGARTEN YEAR!!!! BEING WITH YOUR CHILDREN HAS BEEN A TOTAL BLESSING!!! THIS SPECIAL GROUP OF CHILDREN WILL BE FOREVER REMEMBER FOR THEIR SPIRITUALLY AND GENUINE LOVE FOR OTHERS!!! WE WILL MISS THEM!!! AND, LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST, WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR LOVE AND SUPPORT DURING THE ENTIRE YEAR!!!
**K CLOSING CEREMONY: THURSDAY, MAY 17TH, AT 9:00 IN CHURCH
What we are learning:
Reading: The children have come such a long way! The children feel so successful and that’s what it’s all about!! Continue to practice high frequency words: I, can, we, the, like, a, see, go, to, have, is, play, are, for, you, this, do, and, what, little, said, here, & was, he, she, has, look, here, with, me, my, where.
Social Living: We will be happily working on Mother's Day and Father's Day projects for our awesome parents (YOU)!!! We'll also be visiting 1st grade classroom and teachers the last week of school. WE MADE IT!!!!!
Math: This week and next, we will be doing subtraction review by playing games on the Promethean board.
Spelling/Handwriting: We'll be reviewing all Spelling lessons by working on Spelling city.
Religion: This week we will be learning why and how and to pray the Rosary. We will concentate on the Joyful Mysteries and bring home a booklet to share with our families.
Homework:
No written homework.
Practice reading and math skills on your own---play games!!!
