Welcome to my page specially designed for the team 7-1 "Hoosier Hysteria" unit. As part of this theme, each student will be presenting a 3-5 minute speech about an Indiana person, place or thing. The speeches will be presented March 28-30. The topics were selected through science class, and tips for giving speeches were discussed in language arts. This separate page contains links to websites that will assist in research for the speech, as well as a link to my science page.
The only thing that needs to be turned in is an outline (2 copies). The student will use one copy to give the speech, and the other copy will go to the teacher. You may NOT read the speech, and it is to be in your own words. No computer printouts of a web page will be allowed.
Here is a sample outline form that was given to students in January (on a legal-sized paper. Students may cut and paste this format and retype it to create their outline.
