This page will contain information about upcoming tests, review games, & helpful weblinks.
It is time for your your last exam over nature vs. nurture & the brain-behavior connection.
There will be an essay. It will be approximately 30% of your total test grade. You will be asked to support either nature or nurture (your choice) as being the biggest determinant of who we become.
I will expect to see the following elements in your essay:
An introduction
A thesis statement
An explanation of what the nature/nurture argument is all about, explaining what is meant by each term.
A minimum of 6 pieces of scholarly evidence to support your statement, cited when possible.
1 personal anecdote to support your thesis
A concluding statement
Challenging vocabulary
Varied sentence patterns
Correct grammar & spelling
I would be happy to look at any prewriting that you do if you think it will help.
