READING / WRITING WORKSHOP January 17, 2002
The class discussed more about the poem “Starfix,” then answered some critical thinking questions. Those who finished the critical thinking questions took a break. Allen took a break, although he had not finished the questions, so he received lunch detention. The class also took a notebook quiz. Ms. Maddox is looking forward to reading the Friendship poems.
Homework assignment: Complete reading the remaining selections in the Short Story Unit. Make a reading record for each time you read. Write a reading response to one of the selections. Due Jan. 22 Bring a new folder or notebook to class Jan. 22.
