The second six weeks is off to a great start! The boys and girls are beginning their study of the human body systems this six weeks. We have already learned about the respiratory system and will soon be learning about the skeletal, muscular, digestive, nervous, and circulatory systems during the next 6 weeks.
Throughout the year we will be making "crazy" requests which will be used to inspire everyone to be "Crazy about Math and Science!"
"Multiplication Madness" has begun! We have reviewed single digit multiplication and are going to focus on 2-digit times 2- and 3-digit numbers. Don't forget the placeholder when multiplying 2-digit numbers! Every Thursday we will be sending home a Fast Facts practice test for students to study for the the timed Fast Facts test given on Fridays. Visit the on-line games and web sites below to learn your fun math facts!
We're going to have a Hayes Craze year!!!!
