Goya y Picasso
1. Verbs to know in the preterit: regular verbs like hablar, comer, vivir; stem-changing verbs like dormir and pedir (remember most other verbs in the preterit do not have any stem changes in the preterit), volver; verbs like buscar (-car),and pagar (-gar) which have a spelling change in the first person singular only; and last but not least, irregular verbs like decir, estar, tener, hacer, ir/ser, poder, poner, venir, and ver. Please also know the meanings of the verbs. (WKBK: pg. 9-12 and 20-22) Word bank on the verbs.
