Les devoirs(=homework)
1. For tomorrow, Tuesday, February 14: do textbook p. 76, exercise 2. See pp. 74 & 75 if you need assistance with the vocab, though most of it is pretty obvious.
2. Thursday: quiz over the body parts list, the quiz will cover all the words except the head/neck (which we had last week).
3. Your Mardi Gras mask will be due next Tuesday, February 21. Start looking around for materials in purple, green and gold.
Devoirs récents
1. From 1/24: start working on weather vocab. See textbook p. 65, but you should have notes from class.
2. From 1/25: there will be an oral quiz over the 12 months. You will need to recite all 12 in order. Do textbook p. 65, exercise 1. Finish your weather vocabulary. 3rd period only: you will perform your skits in class today.
3. From 1/26: do the weather translation and practice sheet.
4. From 1/27: finish workbook pp. 53-58 if you did not finish in class.
5. From 1/30: do the time, dates and weather questions sheet.
6. From 1/31: start studying for this Friday's quiz over dates, time, and especially, weather. Click here to practice with the power point.
7. Friday, 2/3: Quiz over time, dates and weather. See the activities section below to help you study.

- This website features only French food, and has a lengthy selection of dessert recipes.
- Food Network's official website. You can search their archives by keyword. The recipes are rated according to difficulty, and what's really nice is that they have ratings from people who have made them already.
- A cool French cooking site! Click on search recipes, and then on desserts. The recipes are rated and seem easy to follow.
- About.com: French numbers
- Listen and repeat some of the fruits in French
- LINGOZONE: use this site to bank your vocabulary; it will quiz you, and you might even find a penpal (of an appropriate age only!)
- Language guide: great listening and repeating by theme! Check it out!
