Make sure that you're following the end of the year calendar so that you know you're on target with deadlines, etc. You will receive a schedule for your final presentation. You can and should start working on it in the meantime.
The deadline for completing missing tests and quizzes has passed!
All missing and late homework must be turned in before you begin your final exam on Tuesday, May 29. No exceptions.

1. You should have finished your study guide by now. If not, keep working on it, and bring good questions to class.
2. Tomorrow, Friday, May 25: warm-up quiz #2 (adjectives and faire expressions)
3. Tuesday, May 29: grammar & vocabulary portion of the final exam. LAST DAY FOR LATE/MISSING WORK AND CORRECTIONS!
4. Wednesday, May 30: listening & writing portion of the final exam.
5. Thursday, May 31: speaking portion of the final exam.
6. Friday, June 1 - Thursday, June 7: French-speaking Asia presentations! Start planning yours early so as to avoid conflicts with exam preparation.

1. From 4/2-4/4: Study for the retake of the adverbs portion of the quiz that Mrs. Shima gave you. Practice the adverbs with the Power Point practice.
2. From Monday, 4/9: textbook p. 101, exercise 14 (only #1-4; make sure you vary the way that you ask the four questions) AND p. 108, exercise 6 (only #1-6).
3. From Tuesday, 4/10: do vocabulary with the question words on textbook pp. 106 & 108.
4. From Wednesday, 4/11: Study for the quiz over the question word vocabulary. See textbook pp. 106, 108, and 109 to study.
5. From Thursday, 4/12: Complete the asking questions another way worksheet. Third period should have turned that in today, but ninth period will turn it in tomorrow (Friday!)
6. From Friday, 4/13: complete all of workbook p. 77
7. From Monday, 4/16: do workbook p. 78, exercise 3; read and take notes on textbook pp. 126-128 & 130.
8. From 4/17 & 4/18: study for the quiz over questions. This includes asking questions, asking questions and interrogative vocbulary. Also, in lieu of inversion bellwork corrections, write 4 new questions with inversion for credit back.
9. From 4/20: do vocabulary enrichment with the school subjects.. Use this list, or look also at textbook p. 130.
10. From 4/30: you will have a conjugation quiz over the irregular verb faire. You should have it in your class notes, but if not, see textbook p. 110 to study. Also, write two questions only from textbook p. 109, exercise 8.
11. From 5/1: illustrated vocabulary with classroom objects. See textbook p. 133 for most of the required words. I have provided you with a list of extra words. You may do a drawing or cut/paste images from online. Your choice, but you need illustrations for this vocab.
12. From 5/2: BIG quiz over the school subjets. Start studying early for this one!
13. From 5/3: do textbook p. 110, exercise 10.
14. From 5/4: make vocabulary cards, etc. with the faire expressions vocab. Write 6 original sentences. Each sentence must contain a faire expression.
15. From 5/7: do textbook p. 114, exercise 2. Turn to textbook p. 138. Using the examples, choose a person/creature and write four sentences about him/her. One should be name, one should be age, and the other two should be descriptive sentences. See p. 165 for additional adjectives, or if you're looking for something really different, look in an online dictionary.
16. From 5/8 & 5/9: study for the quiz over classroom objects from my list and from textbook p. 133.
17. From 5/10: do textbook p. 139, exercise 1 (#1-6), p. 165, exercise 2 (#1-4) and p. 167 exercise 7 (#1-4).
18. From 5/14 & 5/15: You will present your 5-sentence portrait before the class tomorrow. Practice pronunciation tonight.
19. From 5/16 & 5/17: let me know by tomorrow if you'll be working with a partner or alone for your Asia presentation.
20. From 5/18: do textbook p. 145, exercise 11. Do vocabulary enrichment with the "les personnes" words from textbook p. 138 and with the list that you copied in class. ALSO, do the exam , part A, sections 1-5. Feel free to work ahead on the study guide!
21. From 5/21: Do section 6 of the study guide and workbook p. 88.
22. From 5/23: write a two-paragraph description of someone. See the handout for assistance. Also, do textbook p.146, exercise 14
