Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere.  ~Chinese Proverb

Welcome to English 12!  I anticipate a productive and exciting year for all of us.  During the course of the year, we will be studying the various time periods and elements of British Literature, compiling a research paper, reading and analyzing various dramatic works and novels, and progressively compiling a portfolio of your senior year.

British Literature brings numerous challenges into the classroom.  The diction of the time period proves difficult; we will work together to decipher the language and determine the meanings of the literary works.  Please accept the challenges with an open mind and a willingness to put forth your best effort in the classroom.

I wish each of you much success this year, and I am excited about having the opportunity to share my thoughts and teachings of British Literature.
