A Raisin in the Sun
Each student has been assigned a reading part in the play. The grade will be determined by his/her dramatic reading and presentation.
Each day of reading, students will write a paragraph about the day's reading.
Dangling Modifiers/Subject Verb Agreement: Students are doing collaborative work on correcting sentences.
Final Test, study: excerpts from Harlem Renaissance selections, The Modern Period writers and their selections (5 facts recorded on each selection), figures of speech, sound effects, Symbolism/Imagism, the business letter, correcting sentences, The Moderns (PowerPoint activity)
Senior Final Test: May 18 and May 19
Final Test: May 24 and May 25
