1.) Please review the syllabus for this class. The syllabus is a slide show called Icsyl. To get to this presentation, complete the following:
1.) Click on My Computer
2.) Click on "AEP/Data" (K:)
3.) Click on Sherlock
4.) Click on Intro to Computer Class
5.) Click on icsyl. You can either press the space bar or click on the mouse to view the presentation.
2.)Fill out the Personal Information Sheet. To get to this sheet complete the following:
1.) Click on My Computer
2.) Click on "AEP/Datalib" (K:)
3.) Click on Sherlock
4.) Click on Personal Information
5.) Please print out information and hand it to me.
3.) View the entire Window `98 Presentation. The presentation is a web site. You get to the web site by clicking on the link below.
4.) Go over the following information as a class; formatting a hard disk, formatting a floppy disk, my computer features, control panel - listing files on the hard drive and on your floppy drive. We will also go over Operating System vs Office 2000. Resizing, maximizing, minimizing and moving windows. Saving files on disks and hard drives.
5.)View the following Powerpoint presentations. At the end of each of these presentations, please answer the questions using Microsoft Word. Save the answers on your floppy disk.
