WELCOME BACK!!!! We are on a move now! Our spelling words for this week are:: handed, ended, thanked, asked, wished, fished, tricked, catching, dressing, helping, picking, fishing, thinking, wishing, denying, claimed, alerting. Red words are: silently, countries, question, famous, and invention.
In English we will be learning about several different types of adjectives.
We're learning about vowel digraphs, spellings of ck and k, final stable syllables, and more sight words. Please encourage your child to read at least 10-15 minutes each night.
In Math, we've been learning lots of things like finding the area of shapes, counting nickels, creating and reading bar graphs and venn diagrams, and practicing our math facts.
This week we will also be talking about Dr. Martin Luther King.
