2009 BLOOD GLUCOSE CONTROL COMPETENCY AND E-LEARNING COURSE


These Blood Glucose Control E-learning modules have been designed as orientation tools to help facilitate understanding of inpatient blood glucose control at Saint Joseph HealthCare. The modules were developed to meet orientation competency requirements per job classification Based on current research recommendations, they were developed by the Diabetes Treatment Center in grateful collaboration with the Clinical Educators and the unit based Diabetes Champions.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

1. Review all presentations and complete the on-line post-test and evaluation survey.
2. Locate the appropriate test under Quia Activities (see below)
3. Take the test: (The test has to be completed in one setting otherwise you will lose what you have done; it does not save until you are completely done, at the end hit the submit button.)
Step 1: Click on the test
Step 2: Enter your LAST name, FIRST name; DEPARTMENT; and CAMPUS
(Example: Doe, Jane; 4A; SJW)
4. Complete evaluation survey.
5. Print the evaluation survey (this is your proof of completion).
