I have posted several psychology research sites on my faculty webpage, but the primary responsibility for finding sites is yours! One of the best sites is the American Psychological Association site. The address is: www.apa.org. Access the site, select a study and read very carefully. Answer the following questions. These reports will be collected on the first day of class every other week. They must be done on a report sheet. It is very helpful to me if you attach a copy of the research study article to your report sheet.
1.What is the title of the study?
2.What is the site address?
3.Briefly summarize what was the purpose/reason/focus of the study? What is the hypothesis?
4.Who or what was studied? (the sample population)
5.Summarize the findings? Were the results of the study what they expected to find? Did the study include any data (numbers)
6.Has the study been concluded or is research still being conducted?
7.Who will benefit from this research?
