Welcome to Instructional Technology 9. This one-semester course guides students through a financial planning process using the tools of technology available at Mount Everett. These tools include WordPerfect Office 12 and Macromedia Dreamweaver and Flash. Students will be graded on daily computer assignments and projects, which will be compiled in a "Financial Planning" notebook. A final project will comprise the final exam grade. In general, this is a non-homework course; but students will be asked to survey family, friends, or neighbors regarding financial topics examined in the lessons. Grading criteria: Daily class work and notebook: 70%. Projects: 30%.
