Welcome to 6th Grade on Cougar Hall!!!
Well, we made it through our first two nine weeks at ITIS. Can you believe we are halfway through your sixth grade year!!!??? We are continuing our study of Ah-ha; this week we are on unit 9. Make sure you are studying a little each night. Also this week we will be working on letters and speeches.

Don't forget that you need to read a historical fiction and a newbery to meet your AR goal this nine weeks. Please feel free to email with any questions, concerns, or just to say hello.

Meet Ms. Peterson

This is my seventh year teaching at Indian Trail. I graduated with my Masters of Education in June 2006 from Milligan College. I am one of four children; I have an older sister and brother and one younger sister. Over the past few years, I was fortunate to go on several trips. I went on a cruise to the Bahamas for the first time with a few friends. I also traveled with several friends to New York City for the first time. This summer I was able to go to New Orleans for the first time as well!! We had a blast!! I always go to the Outer Banks of North Carolina with my family and friends. You will hear many anecdotes about my friends and family in my class-especially my nephew Aidyn. He is six years old and keeps everyone in my family on their toes. He is starting first grade this year, so I'm sure I will have LOTS of stories to share! I am from Johnson City and actually had a few of the teachers at Indian Trail when I was in middle school!
