Note: Please remember that all assignments (including labs) are due at the beginning of class on the due date. Any work turned in after class has started will have a 5% deduction from your score (you may be asked to leave the room if we are discussing work that you have not completed). Any work turned in, or tests not taken without prior arrangements, more than one school-day late will receive a 0% score. Online tests, when announced in the class page, will be opened only for the time period specified.
Day 1 through 5:
*Read Chapter 7.
*PPT on Chapter 7.
*Demonstration on bending, cutting, swedging, and different types of joints.
*Demonstration on brazing with air/acetylene, and oxy/acetylene on diffrenent joints, and materials.
*Practice bending, cutting, swedging, and brazing with different torch types available, materials and joints.
*Complete the chapter 7 Review Test Questions in the lab manual.
*Complete Labs 7-1 and 7-2.
*Obtain Final Project Handout and complete project (see link below).
*Project must pass a pressure (200 PSIG) and visual test (See instructor for rubric).
Day 6:
All assignments and tests are due!
