Note: Please remember that all assignments (including labs) are due at the beginning of class on the due date. Any work turned in after class has started will have a 5% deduction from your score (you may be asked to leave the room if we are discussing work that you have not completed). Any work turned in, or tests not taken without prior arrangements, more than one school-day late will receive a 0% score. Online tests, when announced in the class page, will be opened only for the time period specified.

Textbooks:
*Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technology 6th Edition
*Practical Problems in Mathematics for Heating and Cooling Technicians

Items Needed:
*Temperature/Pressure Chart (Supplied by instructor)
*Protractor

Day 1:
Hand out Pressure/Temperature Charts, go over proper usage.
Read chapter 17 "Ratio" in math book. Complete problems 1-25.
PPT and discussion on chapter 17.
Read chapter 37 "Air Distribution and Balance" in Refrigeration Textbook.
Work on Review Test 37 and Lab 37-2.

**Turn in Review Test Questions and Lab 37-2 on Day 7**
**Test on Math Book Chapters and Refrigeration Chapter 37 on Day 8**

Day 2:
Read chapter 21 "Direct Measure" in math book. Complete problems 1-25.
Work on Review Test 37 and Lab 37-2.
PPT and discussion on chapter 21.

Day 3:
Read chapter 24 "Direct Measure" in math book. Complete problems 1-25.
PPT and discussion on chapter 24.
Work on Review Test 37 and Lab 37-2.

Day 4:
Read chapter 29 "Cylindrical Volumes" in the math book. Complete problems 1-25.
PPT and discussion on chapter 29.
Work on Review Test 37 and Lab 37-2.

Day 5:
Read chapter 30 "Ohm's Law and Electrical Relationships". Complete problems 1-25.
PPT and discussion on chapter 30.

Day 6:
Read chapter 31 "Gas Laws and Temperature of Mixtures". Complete problems 1-25
PPT and discussion on chapter 31.

Day 7:
Read chapter 32 "Heat Load Calculations". Complete problems 1-25.
PPT and discussion on chapter 32.
Review for
1. Test on math book chapters covered.
2. Test on chapter 37 in Refrigeration Text Book.

**Turn in Review Test Questions and Lab 37-2**

Day 8:
Test:
