Monday- In Class: Had the 1st day Opener, Started going over the Parent Letter (Notebook #1), Filled in Student Info Sheet, Get to know each other class activity HW: Get two sheets signed and there is a Quiz on Thursday!

Tuesday- In Class: Finished going over the Parent Letter (Notebook #1), Went over the Scientific Method (Notebook #2), Went over Lab Safety (Notebook #3)HW: Finish the back of the Scientific Method and Lab Safety if needed, Signed papers, Quiz Thu. on Scientific Method, Lab Safety and Graphing

Wednesday- In Class: Went over last night's hw, Graphing PowerPoint Slides, Reading Graphs Worksheet (NB #4), Made an example of the four types of graphs (NB #5) HW: Make a Pictograph, Quiz tomorrow on Scientific Method, Lab Safety and Graphing

Thursday- In Class: Turned in the pictograph, Intro Quiz (NB#6) In Class Conversions (NB#7), Began the Metric System (NB#8) HW: Conversions, Next Quiz will be on Tuesday!

Friday- In Class: Turned in conversions, Finished the Metric System and measured at lab stations, Began Four Branches of Earth Science (NB#9), Got the SMART lunch schedule, Formative Assessment HW: Review Sheet due Tuesday (NB#10), Next Quiz will be on Tuesday on Metrics, Conversions and the Four Branches!

Monday- NO SCHOOL!

Tuesday- In Class: Topo Box Lab (NB#21), Finished up any work from yesterday needed- Road Map or Topo Symbols, Began Topo Map Activity (NB#22)HW:Mapping Review Sheet (NB#23), Honors Lab Follow Up, Test is Thursday!

Tuesday- In Class: Went over the last part of the notes, Did Movement of Plates Worksheet (NB#30), Common Assessment, Continental Drift & Plate Tectonics Worksheet (NB#31), Honors all completed Plate Tectonics pictures (NB#27) HW: Plate Tectonics Review Sheet (NB#32), test will be on Thursday! Progress Reports go home next week!

Wednesday- In Class: Turn in review sheets, Go over the Continental Drift & Plate Tectonics worksheet (NB#31), Lava Lovers article with questions (NB#33), Began Volcanoes worksheet (NB#34), Began showing volcanoes pictures, Answered review sheet questions HW: Study for the test tomorrow!
