Thursday- In Class: Turn in signed info sheets, The SI System worksheet (Notebook#3)HW: Get info sheet signed if you didn't and study for the Intro Quiz that is tomorrow!

Friday- In Class:Intro Quiz (Notebook #4), Conversions worksheet (Notebook #5), Density Measurement Lab (NB#6) HW:Conversions!

Week of February 2-6
Monday- In Class: Turned in conversions homework and any labs from Friday, Metric Box Activity (NB#7), the Four Branches of Earth Science handout (NB#8), Intro Assessment (except 3rd- we'll do it tomorrow), Get review sheet for the test (NB#9)HW:Do the review sheet and study for the Intro test tomorrow!

Tuesday- In Class: Turned in review sheet, Intro Assessment (3rd only), Intro Unit Test (NB#10), Label Continents and work on Mapping notes (NB#11) HW:Any late review sheets.

Wednesday- In Class: Went over Mapping notes (NB#11), Worked on the NC Roadmap (NB#12) HW: Maps Quiz on Friday.

Thursday- In Class: A few minutes to finish the NC Roadmap (NB#12), Latitude & Longitude packet (NB#13), Time Zone notes (NB#14) HW: Complete the Latitude & Lontitude worksheet, Work on time zones worksheet, and study for Maps Quiz tomorrow!

Friday- In Class: Turn in Latitude & Longitude hw, Reviewed the Time Zone notes (NB#14), Maps Quiz (NB#15), Topo Map notes & Symbols (NB#16), Topo Map Activity (NB#17) HW: Finish up topo map activity if needed

Week of February 9-13
Monday- In Class: Topo Box Lab (Back of NB#17), Worked on the Raleigh & Marion topographic maps (NB#18), Got the Mapping review sheet (NB#19)HW:Begin the review sheet, the Mapping test is on Wednesday!

Tuesday- In Class: Finish the Raleigh & Marion map, Honors- do the Albermarle map, Begin the Plate Tectonics Map (NB#20), may work on review sheet if time permits. HW:Finish the review sheet and study for the Mapping test that is tomorrow! 

Wednesday- In Class: Turn in review sheets and the Latitude & Longtitude packet (again), Mapping Assessment, Mapping Test (NB#21), work on the Plate Tectonics Map (NB#20)HW:Finish the front of the Plate Map (if needed), late review sheets

Thursday- In Class:Went over the Plate Map from yesterday and began the Continental Drift notes (NB#22) HW:Quiz Monday on Continental Drift

Friday- In Class:Completed the Continental Drift notes, Began making Pangaea (NB#23) HW:Quiz Monday on Continental Drift!

Week of February 16-20
Monday- In Class: Continental Drift Quiz (NB#24), Finished making Pangaea and turned it in, Worked on Section II of the Plate Tectonics notes that we got last week. HW:Students may come in during "B Lunch" if needed to make up work

Tuesday- In Class: Began drawing the three types of plate boundaries with a divergent boundary (NB#25), Worked on completing the rest of Section II of the Plate Tectonics notes, drew the three types of convergent boundaries, Began the matching section on the back of the notes HW: Continental Drift & Plate Tectonics worksheet (NB#26), Plate Boundaries Quiz Thursday, Plate Tectonics test most likely will be on Friday, Students may come in during "B Lunch" if needed to make up work

Wednesday- In Class: Turn in hw, Finished transform boundary notes/picture, Plate Tectonics Video(NB#27), went over hw, [3rd only- Vocab review for quiz tomorrow], Worked on sea-floor spreading notes HW: Plate Boundaries Quiz tomorrow, Begin review sheet(NB#28) that is due Friday, Plate Tectonics test will be on Friday, Students may come in during "B Lunch" if needed to make up work

Tuesday- In Class: 1st and 4th- Finish Presentations! Then 1st worked on Minerals Lab. 4th- Work on Minerals Notes. 3rd period- Finish Minerals Lab (NB#65), Began Minerals Worksheet (NB#69) HW: 4th period- Minerals worksheet (NB#66)

Wednesday- In Class: 1st period finished the Minerals Lab and began the Minerals worksheet (NB#69) 3rd period did the Minerals worksheet (NB#69) and started the Minerals Reading (NB#70). 1st & 3rd took the "Pop" Mineral Identification Quiz (NB#68) 4th- Started the Minerals Lab (NB#65) HW: Begin the review sheet (NB#67), Test will be on Friday!
