Thanks to all our students who ran in the Shamrock Final Mile this year. The race was a huge success. I look forward to seeing everyone at the beach running again next year.
Fitness testing is on going in grades 4-5 and will continue in to May.
Thanks to Mrs. Rife for coming in and teaching step aerobics to our students in grades 3-5. The kids had a great time.
We are still looking for some super stars to put on our Shining Star bulletin board in the gym. Send those pictures in.
Mark your calendars. Jump Rope for Heart is coming April 17th.
We are looking forward to 100% participation again this year. Information will be coming home on March 18th. Volunteers will be needed.
The Hershey Track Meet is coming in April.
The meet is for students born between 1994-1999. The girls meet will be held on Friday, April 18th, from 5:00-9:00 at Cox High School. The boys meet will be held on Friday, April 25th, from 5:00-9:00 at Cox High School. Registration deadline is April 11th. See the PE staff for a registration form.
The 2008 Olympics will be held in PE classes for grades 3-5 from April 28th -May 5th. Volunteers will be needed to help guide our athletes.
June will be for field day and the fun run at Dam Neck for 4th and 5th graders.
