1. Click on the link below entitled "Stocksquest."
2. In the left margin of the page, click "Sign Up."
3. Create a username and password that will be easy to remember and WRITE THEM DOWN. Then submit all other required information.
4. Once you have created your account, log in and click the tab "Join a Class" to join Horlick's class. The class organization will be Horlick cp econ or Horlick cp economics the password will be economics for both cpecon5 fifth hour and the cpecon7 for seventh hour.
5. Next, go to your portfolio. In order to trade stocks in the Horlick game, you must click on the word Horlick on the left side of the page. You may trade in Stocksquest as practice, but it will not count towards your rank.
6. Click "Buy Stocks" and then, on the left, "Yahoo Quotes." Use this page to find stocks to buy. Then input the symbol and number of shares into the "Buy Stocks" page to purchase.
7. To sell stocks, click the "Sell Stocks" tab and input the number of shares you wish to sell in the box next to the stock you are selling; then click "Submit." You must wait one day to sell stocks.
8. Click "Rankings" to view your ranking in the Horlick game.
9. The "History" tab will show you all of the trades you have made in the past. You may also look at other people's trades by clicking on their name in the Rankings and then on History in their Portfolio.
10. Use the various links provided at the bottom of this page and any other information you can find to make consciencious investment decisions.
