Quia Activites, Calendar, and Useful Links
Below you will find various activities that you can use to help you practice, practice, practice. There are a variety of game types (challenge board = Jeopardy, rags to riches = Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, Battleship, Hangman, concentration = Memory, and many more!) Just below the activities section you will find a calendar that will contain some dates just to keep you informed. Finally, you will see a listing of links that will be useful to help you succeed in math this year. There are links to the book publisher, links to useful games you can play to help you practice, etc.
These will change with our topics being covered, so keep watching!
The Fun of Learning Math
Below is a video that will help you prepare for upcoming lessons on fractions. Yes, I realize that it will be a while before we get to that point, but it is never to early to get a head start. Plus, this video is awesome. I will put more fun videos on here as we go through the year! Enjoy!
By popular demand, below is a video clip of a show I was on back in the 90's. The show was called Club Dance, and it was on The Nashville Network (TNN). I am not in this particular clip, but I do have the VCR tapes with the shows I was on. Who knows, I may break one of them out this nine weeks and show you that your teacher can dance.
