I'm John and I have an unexplainable passion for drawing. As you can see, I drew a picture of a character who some of you may recognize. The behind-the-scenes statistics about this piece of art are listed below.
Why did I draw this picture? First of all, I like to draw, and it is a talent that seems to come naturally. Also, this is Goku from my favorite television show, "Dragonball Z", and I've always wanted to draw one of the characters.
First, I sketched the picture, drawing the basic structure that makes him up. Then I did the simple shading and continued by adding the more complex shading to make it look more realistic. After doing that, I added the color, making the belt, boots, wristband and undershirt blue. I made the hair yellow, his outer clothing orange, and his skin a peach-like color. Finally, I cut it out and mounted it on a black piece of construction paper, as well as placing a yellow energy symbol behind him.
You can draw this fun activity, too, simply by looking at my picture, and following the steps listed above. Perhaps some of you future artists can draw it, too.
