Hello Students, Parents, and Staff...
I'm back with more news that's happening here at YES!!!! Our Science curriculum is quickly coming to an end and the fourth quarter will contain a brand new twist. Because of the fourth grade's Math, Reading, and Social Studies focus I will be "double dosing" our kids in these subjects areas. In other words, our students won't have just one teacher per subject, now they'll have two. I will serve as the fourth grade SOL Prep Teacher.
This position will allow me to focus on those "weak" areas that our kids find challenging, stressful, or simply misunderstood. It is a perfect time for our students to ask those "silly", inquiring, challenging, or even basic questions so they "GET IT"! It is our goal to address every student's concern before the SOL test date. Please encourage your child to come see me...ask the questions...and spend some time investigating those areas or concepts that they really don't understand. I will try my best to answer them in a way that will benefit us all.
