Hello, and welcome to English 9 Honors! Throughout the course of the semester, students will study a broad variety of literature from different cultures and time periods. As we study the different varieties of literature, we will also focus on literary analysis through narrative, descriptive, persuasive, and expository essays. I encourage every student to report to class each and every day with the appropriate materials and most importantly, an open mind that is eager to learn. I know this is going to be an exciting year as we explore the world around us!
Materials: 1 3-Ring binder with dividers 2. Flash Drive (2 GB will be sufficient) 3. Blue or black ink pens 3. Red grading pens (Two should last the semester.) 4. Plenty of loose leaf paper 5. Colored Pencils 6. Sticky Notes
