Reading Class:
1. We are reading THE RIVER and CANYON in class.
2. Our focus is on looking at the author's strategies for
"painting pictures" in the reader's mind.
3. Each session we sketch a picture of a scene in our
notebooks.
4. Our assessment will be a project. The goal will be
to demonstrate "images" that the author painting in
our mind throughout the novel.
