Spanish I Paso a Paso Textbook ¡Hola! Bienvenidos a Señor Juárez's Spanish I webpage. In this page, Spanish I students will be able to find activies, quizzes, and prectice tests that will help them review/learn the vocabulary, verbs and grammar concepts for chapters 1-12. ...on another note... Success in Spanish depends on consistent study and attentiveness in class. Study a little bit every night instead of trying to learn everything the night before a test. Follows this suggestions and the class will seem easier. Spanish is not difficult, but it does require memorization, practice, and good study skills. Important information to remember. Grading System: Tests 40% Quizzes 20% Dialogues 10% Homework 10% Class Participation 10% Writing Assignments 10% Quizzes are given frequently (almost every day). Tests, once a week in the 90 minute classes. Tests, once every two weeks in the 50 minute classes. The daily grade is based on my expectations for appropriate classroom behaviors. 1) Arrive on time 2) Bring supplies (books, pens, notebooks, paper, etc.) 3) Behave appropriately in the classroom 4) Use class time wisely 5) Listen attentively to me and to your classmates 6) Participate in class discussions and activities 7) Always try to communicate in Spanish. ¡Qué vivan los MUSTANGS! ¡Qué vivan! ¡Qué vivan los MUSTANGS! ¡Qué vivan!
