Do you read the comics? Are comics popular in your country? Which ones do you read?
Comics appear in the daily newspapers and in some magazines. Most Americans read comics sometimes. Comics are fun and useful ways to learn about English because the language is what people really use, not classroom English. Some comics are funny, some are cute, some make you identify with the cartoon ("That happens to me too."),some make you smile. Sometimes humor doesn't translate. You may not understand something that an American thinks is funny. He or She may not think cartoons from  your country are funny.
