We are drawing near to our last quarter! Don't forget that YOU have the distinct opportunity to be a part of Indian Trail Middle School's last 7th grade class EVER! Here are some famous quotations from other memorable people that left legacies in the field of language arts:
"It is our choices...that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities."
J. K. Rowling, Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets
"No one is useless in this world who lightens the burdens of another."
Charles Dickens
"Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens."
J. R. R. Tolkien
"How important it is for us to recognize and celebrate our heroes and she-roes!"
Maya Angelou
"Be great in act, as you have been in thought."
William Shakespeare
"Goodness is the only investment that never fails."
Henry David Thoreau, Walden: Higher Laws
As we get closer to to TCAP testing in April, use the games and review activities at the bottom of the page to prepare. If you spend at least 30 minutes on reviewing, get a note in your Tracker from a parent to receive bonus points on quizzes!
Parents: This would be a great time to begin helping your child review concepts from the year, looking over notesheets with them, engaging in the review activities below, or finding interesting websites related to language arts.
Keep working toward that AR Goal! Reading 20-30 minutes every night will help you achieve your goal faster, and it is a good, healthy habit.
