Course Catalog Description:
This course begins by introducing students to measurements and methods of
eliminating errors through hands-on practical activities. Students use various
instruments to perform electrical measurements such as DC and AC
measurements, and carry out a project towards the end of the course to
familiarize with the process of rectification.

Course Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to:
• Define measurement and differentiate between the types of measurement;
• Define the major characteristics of an instrument/device and determine them through experiments;
• State the importance of calibrating measuring instruments;
• Perform DC and AC measurements, and carry out error analysis on measurements.
• Design, assemble, test and present a project prototype.
