Hello!  My name is Kara Schwartz.  This is my first year of teaching.  I was an instructional aid last year at Emily G. Johns, and am excited to be a classroom teacher this year!  I grew up in Plano and graduated from PHS in 2002.  I then went to Western Illinois University.  This is where I met my husband, Dan.  He is a History teacher and a coach at Plano High School.  You can bet that I will be at the football games on Friday nights cheering on the Reapers!  My favorite color is pink and I love to eat ice cream.  I enjoy reading, scrapbooking, and shopping!  I live 2 houses away from my mom, dad, and brother.  I always knew I wanted to be a teacher!  It is awesome to see my students learn something new each day.
