It is hard to believe that we only have a few weeks left of school! We have thoroughly enjoyed working with your children. Although we will be sad to see them leave our classroom, we are delighted to report that they are ready to succeed once they enter the first grade classrooms. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to teach your children and to help provide them with the first solid foundation in elementary school!
We would also like to thank our room mothers, Melanie and Mary Ruth, for a job well done! Please take the time to express your gratitude for their diligent work and dedication to KB. Without them, events and celebrations would not run as smoothly as they do! We couldn't do all that we do without them!
Last week, you should have received a note in your child's folder explaining the end of the year celebration. Our kindergarten celebration is scheduled for May 24th at 9:00 a.m. in the church. Your child is assigned a letter as well as an assigment to memorize a few words about his/her letter and to create a shirt about the same letter for the performance. The shirt will be worn over your child's "church clothing" for the celebration. Please begin to work on these tasks with your child because the date will be here before you know it!
