We have a very busy week planned for next week! Here is a list of reminders for the upcoming weeks.

*Student contracts were sent home on Friday, Feb. 10th. Please make sure to check your child's daily folder and tote bag. We appreciate a speedy return on all contacts as soon as possible. Here is the information pertaining to the contacts that was featured in the Feb. 8th Bridget's Bulletin.

2012-2013 Tuition Contracts: On Friday, February 10th Tuition Contracts will be sent home, with the oldest or only child in each family. Please be sure to retrieve this from your child. The completed contract, listing all children who will attend St. Bridget in 2012-13, must be returned by noon on February 24th. Available seats will be offered to accepted applicants beginning the afternoon of February 24th. Please read all three pages of the contract thoroughly and sign on both pages 2 and 3.

*Aramark will no longer be suppling napkins, forks, knives, spoons, or condiments unless your child buys his/her lunch from the cafeteria. Therefore, please make sure to include the necessary items if your child needs them for lunch each day. A napkin is needed every day! If you wish, the supplies can be purchased at the cafeteria. Please rest assured! I have purchased extra supplies in case you forget. KB students will not go without!

*Tuesday, Feb. 14th is Valentine's Day. Each student is asked to bring in one signed valentine for all of his/her classmates. We will be making our bags at school to collect the valentines. Tuesday is also a spirit day. The colors are red, white, pink, and blue in honor of Valentine's Day and Presidents' Day. Please send $1.00 with your child.

*Wednesday, Feb. 15th is a Wacky Wednesday sponsored by the student council. It includes a FREE spirit day, and the students are asked to wear pajamas. No slippers are allowed in order to ensure the safetly of our students. If your daughter wants to wear a nightgrown, please make sure that she also wears tights, leggings, or pants as well.

*Progress reports will be coming home on Friday, Feb. 17th along with assessment sheets. Please take some time to look them over and return everything back to school by Wednesday, Feb. 25th. Thank you!

*Throughout the month of February, we will be collecting change and dollars to support our "Pennies for Patients" donation to St. Jude's. We ask that every student bring in loose change for our wishing well jar. You are welcome to also make a donation in addition to the change if you wish to do so.

New for 2012!!

*As part of our calendar math time, we are going to start an estimation activity. On Mondays and Fridays, students will try to estimate the number of objects in a jar. The child who gets closest to the correct number will get to bring the jar home, fill it with new objects, and bring it back to school for his/her classmates to estimate. Our goal is to give every child an opportunity to complete this activity. A letter will come home when it is your child's turn. Thank you in advance for your help with this new activity.

*We are trying something new in KB! Each night for homework, you may see a sheet entitled "Homework Challenge!" attached to your child's homework sheet. The challenge is meant as an opportunity for extra practice or for a chance to enrich your child's learning in KB. Some nights will not include a challenge sheet, so please keep your eyes on the look out at homework time. If you see a "Homework Challenge" note attached to your child's work, please make sure to have your child complete the activity and then return it to school. Thank you!
