8B Homeroom
*I would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to all of you who have contributed to our class wish list. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!
*I would like to remind students to bring in a can of clorox wipes to be kept in their desk for wiping down their desks twice a day. We want to make sure everyone stays healthy!
*The 8th grade Wreath Project was a great success. Thank you for all of your support. The wreaths turned out beautifully. Ten of them were sold before they ever left campus. The rest will be taken and sold at the Tempe Town Lake Light Up a Luminaria. All proceeds benefit NPH. If you haven't brought in your donation yet, it would be greatly appreciated.

Now that we have an understanding of the economic, political and social differences in the North and South, we have begun taking a closer look at conflicts and events that are rapidly pushing the U.S. to the brink of Civil War.
The students will be doing a joint project in Social Studies and Computers. As they learn about the different conflicts in Social Studies, they will be constructing a digitized timeline of these events in Computers.
