Dear Students and Parents,
It has been a wonderful 7 years at BCMS! It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to my beloved Bulldog family; however, I hope to see you soon at Tuscarora High School!! We'll work together with the new challenges of the Common Core Curriculum and delve into some truly inspiring reading pieces. We've got quite a few challenges coming our way next year--not just getting to know the layout of the school. Have a nice, relaxing summer, but be sure to keep up with reading! This is your class "Quia" web site. On this site, you'll be able to get a weekly overview of what is happening in class. Click on the calendar link to the left to see what assignments and what BCMS and FCPS events are coming. I have already entered the events that appear on the 2012-2013 FCPS calendar. You'll also find links to documents we received in class, so if yours is lost or you were absent, you can use this site to download and print any missing work. Check out the ECR, LU, and BCR rubric documents below.
Further down, you'll find links to games that will help you to study for your tests and quizzes. Try out some of the links from last year.
This year, students will receive an Internet contract through Mrs. Autz's classes, prior to starting any work in the computer lab

VOCABULARY AND WORD STUDY
Classes will receive their word study/vocabulary lists on Fridays. They will be assigned homework, using these words, which will be due on Tuesdays--or the second day after the weekend/holiday. Students should use their study guides, as well as this web page to study each week. Mrs. Autz will be placing games on this site, in order to aide study.
HOMEWORK
You can find the latest homework on the BCMS web site, under "Parents and Students". Homework will be assigned 3-5 nights per week. If there is nothing to write, you will have something to study.
