Assignments for FALL SEMESTER-First Nine Weeks PRINT TECH LAB 1 (Advanced Class): Kendrick High School Graphic Communications Advanced Graphic Communications Individual Projects Second Nine Weeks-FALL Semester You must have 8 individual projects completed by the end of the semester on December 18, 2008. Two projects are due by November 18. Two projects are due by December 2. Two projects are due by December 9. Two projects are due by December 18. You may choose from the following available projects. 1. Any live work project that comes in the shop. (Example: softball banquet program, monthly calendar, etc.) 2. Any completed double-page spread for the yearbook. 3. Create a logo for International Printing Week (January 11-17, 2009). Use your logo to create one of the following. You will produce the digital file and print your project on the risograph or the offset press . The project must include two colors. IF YOU PRODUCE A QUALITY LAYOUT THAT CAN BE PRINTED IN PROCESS COLOR----The instructors will allow you to print on the new Illumnia Digital Color Press. A. 11 X 17 Poster B. 8 1/2 X 5 1/2 Notepad C. 8 1/2 X 2 Bookmark D. Tent Card that can be placed on the cafeteria tables (11 X 17 before it is folded) E. 2 1/4” Button 4. Create a logo for Career, Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE) Month (February, 2009). Use your logo to create one of the following. You will produce the digital file and print your project on the risograph or the offset press. The project must include two colors. . Website Design Requirements: Each group must have a fully functional website: -Completed Logo -Functional Links -Correct information inserted into the area of related content (Example: paragraph about SkillsUSA on the SkillsUSA page) -All necessary photos taken -All pages must be complete -All spelling and grammatical errors must be corrected If you do not strive to have excellent projects and you hurry through your projects----you will be assigned additional projects on an individual basis. Plan accordingly. No excuses will be accepted that there were no computers available, presses were available, or any technical problems. YOU MUST PLAN FOR PROBLEMS!!!!! ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE A FLASH DRIVE!
