ABINGDON HIGH SCHOOL
COURSE SYLLABUS ENGLISH 9 AND 12
Ms. Hamilton 2011-2012
Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,
Welcome to a new school year. I am excited about the year and am looking forward to teaching all of my students. I hope everyone had a great summer break and is ready to learn new things. Our goal is to make this year a successful one for each student. I’m sure we can accomplish this by working together. Parents can help a great deal by seeing that their child is well rested, has necessary supplies for class, completes any homework, and reviews for quizzes and tests. Students may help by taking responsibility for their own learning. I will do all I can to facilitate learning and help each of my students grow academically and be as successful as possible. If you have any questions regarding your child’s progress in my class please feel free to contact me at any time. My contact information and schedule are listed below.
Educationally yours,
Karen Hamilton
