 This web site is designed to be a supplemental support tool for Kofa High economics students , not a replacement for being in class. The information and resources ccessable through this site are ideal for the following purposes :
1. Reviewing the national and state economic academic standards , as well as the class rules and policies via the syllabus . Click on the links below under " Course Resources " to view any of the PDF files .
2. Study schedule planning by reviewing the calendar events section below . The upcoming events for the week are listed . For longer term planning , and to view events on a monthly basis , click on the " view calendar " icon in the web site title bar at the upper left corner of this web site .
3. Good note taking is a key to success in this class . If you have been trained to use Cornell Notes , and prefer to use that method of note taking , then that methodology will serve you well in this class . If you have not been trained in the use of Cornell Notes Mr. Rothschild will provide training during the first week of the semester and you will want to review the samples provided in the " Reading And Note Taking Resources " section below . Click on the link to open the file which can be printed .
4. Students are required to take chapter exams in class through this website . Students must register in class to take an exam as our limited computer resources are made available on a first come , first serve basis . Unless Mr. Rothschild has given you special sign in instructions , when taking an exam your " user name " is ( without a space between them ) , your proper / formal first name , followed by your last name , followed by the number 871 . Your password is your Kofa student ID number .
