Social Studies involves the present, future, and past as well as the geography of our world. On a daily basis students write current events in their journals and discuss the details. Almost every Friday we have a Current Event/Geography/History Quiz covering the week's work. Graded and corrected quizzes are to be signed by the parent or guardian each week. This system allows parents to stay abreast of their child's progress. Maps, notes, class activities and homework are the other components of the Social Studies grade. Please talk with your child daily about the current events discussed that day.
