News from the Library Media Center: The middle school Library Media Center is a wonderful resource for middle school students. The LMC has a large collection of fiction and nonfiction resources. Students can check out books and periodicals, and use the reference materials available in the library. A lab of 30 computers is also available. The computers are utilized by whole classes and are also available for individual student use. Students are welcome in the LMC throughout the day with a pass from their classroom teachers. The library is also open before school at 7:30am. Whole classes often spend entire classes in the library media center. Middle schoolers should remember to sign in and out of the library and also remember their student id cards to use as their library cards. Computer access is available if students have returned their technology agreements and remember their screen names and passwords. Special events, special classes and extended hours are available throughout the school year. "The more you read, the more you know. The more you know, the smarter you grow. The smarter you grow, the stronger your voice, when speaking your mind or making your choice."
