We have been learning about voice control and how to mark oral reading selections!! This is always a great thing to learn! Hopefully, students will develop some interest in oral reading and consider trying out for academic UIL competitions next year! Next week, we will be performing Christmas stories and poems.

Fifth Graders should continue working on the Dolch Sight Word Lists. The more automatically they can read all 220 of these words, the better their fluency will be. Better fluency means better comprehension. Better comprehension means better success on the TEST!!!
