WELCOME TO LA 753: WRITING ACROSS THE CURRICULUM !

How do I know what I think until I see what I say?
--E.M. Forster

Think about it...we'll talk.

This is it--"Last Chance Writing"! This is your final opportunity to prepare for the rigors of college writing. During the semester you'll be introduced to rhetorical structures and techniques appropriate for a variety of academic situations. You will also be encouraged to recognize that precision in grammar, punctuation, word choice, and sentence structure is an integral part of the total effectiveness of writing. To ensure that we create a community of writers, our class will be conducted as a workshop and will meet in the computer lab. I look forward to working with you!
