(Please wear tennis shoes) Tuesday-Spanish Wednesday-Guidance Thursday-Library Friday-Music Parents please make sure your child brings his or her Science outline to school with them each day. The outline will help them prepare for their tests. We go over them regularly in class. Also, please have your child look over the material in Science for 10 -15 minutes every other day (including re reading the lesson at some point during the week). This will help them prepare for tests and other assessments. In science, we will continue reviewing cells, ecosystems, symbiosis and human impact on the environment through center activities. We will also begin our study of types of reproduction. There will be a review test/quiz on Wednesday covering cells, ecosystems, symbiosis and human impact on the environment. There is a link at the bottom of the web page that has an interactive game that students can play to help them learn all 50 states. In language arts, we will begin reviewing adjectives and possessive nouns. In reading, we will begin on a new story in the basal reader and focus on compare and contrast. Parents were are out of kleenex and anti bacterial soap. If your able to send some in, it would be greatly appreciated. It's that sneezy time of year! Our Valentine's Day party will be on Tuesday, February 14, from 12:45 to 1:45. Parents, please remember to put all money in an envelope that includes the money's purpose and the child's name. That will help me to keep up with it much better. Thank you. Parents, when sending in treats for your child's birthday (if you choose to) please make sure that all cakes and/or cookies cakes and similar items are pre-cut. Thank you. Parents, please do not send in snacks for your child containing peanuts or peanut butter. There are some students in class that have severe allergies to peanuts and products containing peanuts. Exposure to either could be life threatening. Thank you. Parents, please make sure that your child arrives to school on time. The 8:15 bell is the tardy bell. Have a great week!!!
