We are currently reviewing Spanish pronunciation and basic vocabulary. Students should practice daily something from the work we have done orally in class that week. Each week builds on the previous lessons. This week they have been able to greet each other and carry on a simple conversation in Spanish.
There are many reasons why the study of a foreign language is important for our elementary students. Not only is it an advantage for them in their future studies, and in whatever career they might eventually choose, but it encourages development of the thinking process. It will help them in other learning activities!! So let's help them together!
Ask them if they have practiced their Spanish for the day!
