PARTS OF SPEECH REVIEW ACTIVITIES
1. To continue your independent review of the eight Parts of Speech, please practice by working on the "Matching" and "Concentration" games that I have created. You may either work alone or with another classmate. To get started, click on the URL in the "Quia Activities" box.
2. When you feel that you have the definitions ROOTED in your brain, please move on to the two quizzes found on the "Useful Links" list at the bottom of this page. YOU MUST E-MAIL YOUR SCORE TO ME by clicking on the "e-mail Mrs. E" icon (top right-hand corner of this page).
3. Complete ONE of the three "Extra Internet Activities" listed below under "Useful Links". Print two copies--one for your grammar folder and one for ME!
4. Complete the FINAL TEST for review of the eight Parts of Speech; and, again, E-MAIL YOUR SCORE TO ME. To start the quiz go to the bottom of this page, click on "Quiz Session Log In". The Session Name is: Final Quiz/Parts of Speech. Type in your name and begin.
5. Your last task is to borrow the "Parts of Speech/Summary" floppy disk from me and print a copy of the summary table to place in your grammar folder.
6. I will record your scores on your "Parts of Speech Scoring Rubric", as you complete each activity. You must complete ALL of the activities within the week of May 7-11. to receive a grade for this assignment.
