READ 2-5 ANSWERING QUESTIONS IN WRITING ON PAGE 6.  USE A DIFFERENT SHEET OF PAPER!

Assignement #2 homework
Study numbers 1-20 on page 15 and be able to write the roman numerals for these numbers when you hear the roman number word for a quiz on Lunae, November V.
Roman numerals are easy to 20.  Remember all you need to know is I = 1, V=5, and X=10.  Then just put them either in front to subtract the amount or behind (to add the amount)  to make the number.

Assignment #3  homework (use games below to study)
Study Roman numerals to 2000 page 19 and 20, the days of the week  page 24, and the months page 27.  YOU HAVE TO STUDY AS YOU GO!  Don't think you can study EVERYTHING next weekend for the final and have it in your head!  Study a little at a time.  Tonight through Wednesday night, study the games below about Roman numerals, days of the week and mnths of the year.

Assignment #4 homework (use games below to study)
Final exam coming up on Monday.  Study classroom names from page 37 and body words from page 43. You should be able to match Roman numerals to 2000 if given American numbers, and recognize meanings of days of the week, months, classroom words, and body words if given the Latin word.  For your last day of Latin class next, Thursday you will be asked to write a 3 paragraph essay on one of the following topics: 
                  A god or goddess
                  Latin language and cognates and uses in English or other languages
                  Roman life including 3 of the following- buiders, toys and games, food,
                  life and work,  education, fashion, sports and baths

Remember that a paragraph has 7 sentences in my class.  Spelling and grammar count!  No notes will be used.  This is a what YOU KNOW final exam.

Assignment #5(use games below to study)
Final exam on Monday.  You will have to write the meaning of Latin words, match American numbers to Roman numerals, and give some information about gods and goddesses, cognates used in the English language and Spanish language, and give some information about Roman life - builders, toys and games, food, life and work, education, fashion, sports and baths.

Review the following to be prepared to write 3 paragraphs about one of the following 3 topics:
           your research about the god or goddess you presented OR
           pages 2-8 in your book - language history and Spanish/English derivatives
           Roman life - pages 14, 26, 34, 42, 46, 58 and 66
