Roman numerals are easy to 20. Remember all you need to know is I = 1, V=5, and X=10. Then just put them either in front to subtract the amount or behind (to add the amount) to make the number.

Study classroom names from page 37 and body words from page 43. You should be able to match Roman numerals to 2000 if given American numbers, and recognize meanings of days of the week, months, classroom words, and body words if given the Latin word. Today we will play balderdash. We will have a final exit exam next classfor your Latin grade. You need to be able to use your balderdash skills to speculate on the meaning of English words based on the Latin roots.
