Biology II Advanced Topics
Course Description
Biology 2 Advanced Topics is a course in which students explore a number of topics in depth, and is designed for students who might have some interest in pursuing a college degree in the sciences. It involves higher order thinking skills and a great deal of analysis. Topics of study include, but are not limited to, genetics, origin of life, and behavior, as well as some basic anatomy.
Pre-/co-requisites include chemistry and algebra 2. A minimum grade of C, or preferably higher, in Biology 1 is strongly encouraged. Teacher recommendation is requested.
Biology 2 Advanced Topics - Expectations
Assignments are expected to be completed on time and are expected to reflect a quality of work appropriate for high school classes.
