Welcome to 4A! This site is intended to help keep you informed of upcoming assignments or events.
In unit 4 in our Family Life series, students will learn how humans grow over time and identify habits that keep your body and soul healthy. In Unit 5, we will discuss how to welcome those who are different from yourself and explore a life of virtue needed to love God.
Students will be in literature groups reading Number the Stars. This story is about a young girl, Annemarie Johansen, and her best friend, Ellen Rosen. Annemarie and her family have to help Ellen and her family, who are jewish, escape to Sweden during the German occupation of Denmark. Students will choose (1) of (3) projects to complete as a group. The projects will be presented on Thursday, May 31st.
To end our year in math, next week we will focus on a variety of concepts. These include solving problems involving decimals, customary and metric measurement, and finding the perimeter and area.
