It is hard to believe that this is the last newsletter of the year! We have a lot of crazy things going on this last week of school so be sure to check your calendars carefully.
For math we are going to be celebrating those who met their multiplication time test goal with a huge ice cream sundae party on Monday. We are also going to be spending a couple of days on a review test to show Mr. Lentell what we learned this past school year and what we need to review the last couple of days of school.
For spelling this week we will have our last big review test of the year. Remember this is a 30 word test and a dictation test so be studying early. Especially, with all of the strange schedules we have it might be hard to focus on this test.
For reading we are going to spend most of our time doing choice reading and giving every opportunity for the students to meet their 10 book challenge.
In writing we are going to finish up some writing projects that we have not had the opportunity to finish up through out the year.
For Social Studies we will be wrapping up things with our field trip that is Wednesday. Remember if you signed up as a volunteer to please join us that morning around 10:30 or so. We also need more wagons so if you can borrow a few from the neighbors for that morning that would be awesome.
For Science we are finish the year with some animal videos that explore their habitats and the dependence they have upon them.
There are lots of extra things going on at the end of the school year so please be sure to check your calendars frequently to stay on top of all the exciting things going on. This week we have our T.A.K.E. field trip on Wednesday and the Southeast PRIDE Day is on Thursday. Also remember that Friday the 27th is an early dismissal day the last day of school.
We also need to remember to bring on large brown paper sack to carry all of our papers and supplies home in the last day of school. Help us to remember to bring them as soon as possible. If we have extras it would be nice to share a couple with other classmates as well.
