Dear Parents,
I hope that you had a wonderful vacation with your child. We are nearing the end of the second trimester and have much to do!! The week of March 12-16 is Parent-Teacher Conference week and the kindergartners will be staying until 1:30 each day during that week.
This week we will begin our study of the color purple, the number 22, the word are and spelling tests!! You student will be tested each Friday on the list of words in their homework packet. Please be creative in practicing these words with your child. March the words, spell them in the car, sing the words, make them in playdough or using other toys!! Try to have fun with the words. We will also be working on these words in class.

Please check your child's FROG for important updates.

Please remember these important items:
1. Homework comes home in the FROG on Monday and is due Friday. The reading log must also be filled out. However, the FROG must be returned daily.
2. Your child will go to the library every Friday to check out a book. If your child does not return his/her book, no book can be checked out that week. Please keep library books in the bag provided.
Volunteers are always welcome and needed in Kindergarten. Thanks so much to those volunteers we see in kindergarten. If you would like to help, but are unable to come in, just send a note and we will send something home that you can help with.
