Welcome to Camp Kindergarten!
The kids are becoming such great readers due to the practice they have each day in the Daily 5. In Writer's Workshop, they are learning to record sounds they hear in words, put spaces between words, and begin each sentence with a capital letter. Now that we have learned our letter names and sounds, we will work on putting them together to make words.
In math, we have mastered comparing numbers 0-10. Now, we learn to add numbers 0-5. In science, we will study Winter and the changes in brings to the natural world.

This is a spectacular class! Our related arts teachers have given them many compliments for good listening, following directions, and being good readers (sounding our words).
